To make it easier, you can share suggested language for donors to take to their attorney or advisor:
- General Bequest (a specific dollar amount):
“I give the sum of $_____ to HopeLink of Southern Nevada, a nonprofit corporation organized and existing under the laws of Nevada, with principal business address 178 Westminster Way, Henderson, NV 89015, for its general purposes.” - Percentage Bequest (a percentage of estate):
“I give ___% of my estate to HopeLink of Southern Nevada, a nonprofit corporation organized and existing under the laws of Nevada, with principal business address 178 Westminster Way, Henderson, NV 89015, for its general purposes.” - Residual Bequest (what remains after other gifts and expenses):
“I give all (or ___%) of the rest, residue, and remainder of my estate to HopeLink of Southern Nevada, a nonprofit corporation organized and existing under the laws of Nevada, with principal business address 178 Westminster Way, Henderson, NV 89015, for its general purposes.”

Make a Gift of Real Estate
HopeLink is able to accept gifts of real estate. If you are looking to donate property, whether it’s land, residential property or commercial property, this is something that HopeLink can accept.
The real estate property you seek to donate must:
- Be free of liens, mortgages, or legal disputes, carrying a clean, transferable title.
- Be inspected by HopeLink staff and their designated contractors to ensure the property is in functioning order
- Have an environmental review (commercial property only) completed to ensure there are no issues of concern i.e. hazardous materials on site
