Prevent Homelessness. Preserve Families. Provide Hope.

Ways of Giving

Donate Online with the click of a button!

Be part of our annual fund.  Every year, we depend on a little help from our friends to have resources on hand so we don’t have to turn away someone in need, when we don’t have grant funds to help to address and provide a creative solution to a unique situation. Every gift, no matter the size is greatly appreciated and will help to keep a family or senior housed, food on their table, provide beds for children, ensure our team is ready and able to respond and so much more!

You can choose to make a one-time gift, or you can set-up a monthly gift so you can make the gift that keeps on giving without having to even think about it!  Click here to donate.

When you make a gift of $250 or more, or set-up a monthly gift of $30 or more, we will send you a copy of Stories of Hope, a 30th Anniversary commemorative book filled with inspiring stories of clients, staff and other Heroes of Hope in our community!

In-Kind Donations of Goods or Services

Furniture and household items that will help a family get a fresh start, raffle and auction items for fundraising events, services of talent or of a professional nature… all of these gifts have value and meaning and are greatly appreciated!

Give our office a call and we will connect you with the appropriate team member who can assist you based on what you would like to donate.

Financial Donations

If you find yourself in the position to have the desire to have a greater impact on the lives of our neighbors throughout Southern Nevada, consider a gift of $10,000 or more!

If you are a corporation, a private foundation or other business who cares about preventing homelessness and our mission, services and programs align with your values and community impact desires, we will work with you to ensure that your gift fulfills your philanthropic intent.

A gift of this size or larger, doesn’t have to impact your monthly budget.  Your CPA or Financial Advisor can assist you in strategizing the best way to make a gift of this size or larger, utilizing your IRA, Gifts of Stock or real property, life insurance, a family trust or more.

If you decide that you would like to gift shares of stock, you will receive  gift value based on value at the time of transfer. This is a great way to reduce your taxable income at year end, especially if the stock has depreciated since it was first purchased. HopeLink has a charitable fund with Thrivent Financial. Simply ask your broker to contact Isaac Taylor at Isaac.Taylor@Thrivent.com and he will be happy to assist in making the transfer.

Gifts may be made for operational support or designated to a specific program, service or population (children, seniors, undocumented)

If you are interested in discussing how making a larger gift can help, and where it can best have impact, our CEO is available to meet, explore your interests and review options with you.

Leave a Lasting Legacy of Hope!

We all want to leave our mark on this world—to know that our life mattered.  But what does it mean to leave a legacy? It means putting a plan in place, deciding how you want to be memorialized and contributing to the betterment of future generations.

At HopeLink, leaving a legacy should be personal and fulling, it should fit within your charitable plans and abilities, and most of all, be meaningful to you as well as our organization and mission of preventing homelessness, preserving families, and providing hope.

Perhaps you have no children to leave your estate to or, you’ve been fortunate in life and have assets you’ve accumulated that you want to use to help others.  Including HopeLink in your estate plans as a beneficiary of a home can provide affordable housing to family after family for many years.  A gift of cash, art, life insurance, stock or other appreciated assets can help to ensure that HopeLink has the resources necessary to provide emergency shelter, food, and additional resources to our clients.

When you are ready to begin thinking about leaving your legacy, we encourage you to visit with your attorney or financial advisor – professionals who can help you explore options and make decisions that you will feel good about and know will impact the lives of others.

Our CEO is always available and happy to meet with you to share our vision for the future, and where we see the greatest needs in the years to come to help you decide how you may wish to designate your legacy gift and to ensure we recognize your legacy in a way that you will be proud of.

Once you do decide and include it in you will, simply provide HopeLink with the page from your document and your attorney’s contact information.  We will keep this on file, and you will know that someday, your executor will ensure your wishes are carried out and that you’ve left a legacy of hope that will honor your memory and life in a meaningful and impactful way.
