SATURDAY, November 6th, 12:00 PM-4:00 PM: It’s “Neighbor Day” at Morrell Park, 500 Harris St in Henderson! Thanks to our Neighbor Day sponsors SOS Radio, Castaways Resale and JoyBee Footwear, HopeLink will be distributing winterwear and shoes to warm up kids, seniors and families living in the Valley View neighborhood. If you’d like to make your own donation of new or gently used winterwear, donations can be dropped off at HopeLink Nov. 1-4 and at the HopeLink Resource Fair booth in the SW corner of Morrell Park from 8:00 AM-11:00AM Saturday and they will be distributed from Noon-4:00 PM. In partnership with the City of Henderson, the resource fair will also feature booths and activities, as well as vendors and services useful to our neighbors all in one place. HopeLink will even be holding a raffle giving away new bicycles! You’ll find us in the southwest corner of Morrell Park. Stop by and be neighborly – it’s Neighbor Day!
